New CEO for Brink’s Indian Ocean

Over 30 years ago since Brink’s established itself in the Indian Ocean. Extending its activities from Reunion Island to Mauritius, Mayotte and Madagascar, the company is now the number one operator in private security services across the region. 

Brink’s Reunion, Mayotte, Mauritius and Madagascar deliver 24/7, matching the security exigencies of the different economic players of these countries.

Brink’s Indian Ocean is part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Directorate (EMEA), and reports to it.

Cyril Gangnard

Cyril Gangnard has been appointed as the new CEO of Brink’s Mauritius and Brink’s Indian Ocean as of February 1, 2025. He succeeds Eric Rey, who handed over the reins after 18 years at the helm of the company.


Cyril Gangnard brings 16 years of experience within Brink’s. Prior to taking on his new responsibilities, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Director of Cash Management Operations, and Director of Marketing & Business Development for Brink’s Indian Ocean.

The new CEO aims to strengthen Brink’s leadership position in the security solutions market in the Indian Ocean region, while focusing on the development of innovative technological offerings.
